Voice In Canada Flash Briefing #677
Hey there. Well, I hope you are having a great holiday season. Happy Hanukkah for those that are celebrating. Hope you had a wonderful Christmas for those of you that celebrated Christmas.
And, Happy Boxing Day to all of us Canadians. Hope you had the opportunity to pick up some more goodies for yourself, or for your loved ones.
Because so many people have picked up new Echo devices, I want to take this flash briefing to actually welcome you to our community, the Alexa in Canada community.
And the reason I don’t say the word out loud, is because I don’t want to trigger your devices. So you’ll often hear me refer to her as Lexi, the Lexi in Canada community.
And one of the things that I want to ask you as a member of this community is, “What should I refer to us as?”
Now, if you have been following for a while, you know that I had been referring to us sporadically at times as AIC Nation for, well, you know the word, A in Canada nation.
I’m wondering if we can come up with something a little bit better as a group.
But, I’m wondering if we can come up with something a little bit better as a group. Something a little more catchy, a little more fun, a little more witty, just simply more awesome.
So, if you have an idea for this community, please send it my way, either through the Facebook community page, and you can access that AlexainCanada.ca/Community, or simply send me a message on Twitter.
My handle is @DrTeriFisher, and I’d love to basically crowdsource the community name for our community from you, the community members.
And then maybe what I’ll do is, I think what I’ll do is, I’ll take the best options and I’ll put those together, and we’ll have a vote. So, I look forward to hearing from you.

1. Open your Alexa app and click on the Menu button > Settings > Flash Briefing.
2. Click on “Add Content” and search for “Voice in Canada”.
3. Click on “Voice in Canada” and the Enable button.
