Voice In Canada Flash Briefing #560
Hey there, hope you are having a great weekend. It is Sunday. And, on Sundays, I like to answer questions from the community. And, today is no different.
I want to answer a question that came from Marvin Zelikovick. And, I hope I pronounce that name right, Marvin.
Apologies if I didn’t. But, Marvin asked a series of questions and they all kind of are around the same theme.
The question is, you know, “Can you get Alexa to remind you about a particular appointment, or to do something at the same time every day?” And, the thing is, you can, it’s pretty cool. And this is all about reminders.
Now you can verbally say to Alexa, “Alexa, set a reminder to…”, and fill in the blank.
Or, if you want to be very specific about your reminder, you can go into the Alexa app, then you would click on the menu icon, and reminders, and alarms, and then when you go to your reminders, you’ll see a big plus sign to add a new reminder.
If you want to be very specific about your reminder, you can go into the Alexa app.
You click on that, you give it a name, what the reminder is for, and then, you can choose a date, you can choose a time, and you can even choose which device it is going to announce the reminder from.
And, you can have an option to get this to repeat every day, or weekends, or weekdays, and so on.
So this is a way that you can very easily get Alexa to remind you to do something on a regular basis. So there you go Marvin.
