Alright, here’s the deal with today’s briefcast. I am a new pet owner. I have never grown up with dogs, but my wife and my kids, they really wanted a dog, and they’ve wanted a dog for years, and I caved.
And just a couple of weeks ago, we got a Labradoodle puppy, and you know what, don’t tell my family but he’s starting to grow on me, okay.
He’s actually very cute. But being the techie that I am, I started to look into technology. And, if you have a pet, you may be interested to know that there is a product made by PetNet.
It’s their smart feeder and it basically distributes the amount of food that you want, but of course, being on this flash briefing, it is WiFi enabled and you can control the feeder with your voice through Alexa.

So for example, you can say, “Alexa, ask PetNet to feed” and then you can say the name of your pet, whether it’s a dog or a cat.
And you can also do something like specify an amount. So, for example, you can say, “Alexa, ask PetNet to feed Cota one cup” and it will distribute that much food.
So I think that’s pretty cool. And, you know what else is pretty cool? I’ve had this dog for maybe like a week and a half, two weeks, and already his name has made it onto this flash briefing.
