Voice In Canada Flash Briefing #515
Hello and welcome to the flash briefing for Thursday. Well, if you have been following along, you know that over the last couple of weeks we had been playing Crack the Code and the response was simply tremendous.
So thank you, everybody, for playing along. Let’s get right to it. Today I want to announce the winners of the participation prize and the grand prize worth close to $3,000.
Let me give you a sense of the participation here first of all. We had 547 people enter the contest.
And of those 547 only… any idea how many were able to actually Crack the Code? Only 20 people actually cracked the code, which actually really made some really good odds for these people to win the grand prize.
So, for those 20 people, congratulations to each and every one of you.
It took some work to go through and solve all of the individual puzzles, and then put it all together to crack the final code, so good for you. Alright.
First of all, as promised, let’s get into the prizes. First of all, for everybody that has entered.
So for these 547 people, if you have entered, you’re one of those people, you will be getting an email in the very near future, from me, which will have a link that you can then go to redeem for a free basic plan to VoiceXP courtesy of Bob Stolzberg.
And that’s about a $400 value when you throw in the setup fee as well. So look for that in your email. That will be coming out very shortly.
Now, participation prize, as I promised. For every single person that entered the contest, I put all of those names essentially into a hat and drew it.
So the tool that I was using allowed me to just randomly draw a person. And, the participation prize, which is a 3rd generation Echo Dot.
This goes to Gary Benjamin. So, congratulations Gary. Thank you for playing along. I really appreciate it.
And just as an aside, Gary happened to actually be one of the 20 people that cracked the code as well.
But of course, everybody that entered was in the running for the participation prize, and he wins it and he happened to be one of the people that cracked the code as well.
The tool that I was using allowed me to just randomly draw a person.
So congratulations on that too, Gary. Alright, and now for the grand prize, so the grand prize again is an Echo Show5, that’s my gift to you.
The premium account one-year subscription from Bob Stolzberg and VoiceXP and free registration for Voice Summit, which is happening next week.
The way this grand prize was chosen again was, we took those 20 people that cracked the final code, and then I had the tool that I was using randomly select a person out of those 20. And, the person is Andrew Kerr.
Way to go, Andrew. Congratulations on cracking the code one and congratulations on winning the prizes two.
So lookout for the correspondence with regards to arranging the distribution of these prizes to both you and to Gary.
But it gives me a lot of pleasure and I just want to thank you so much for being part of this.
It was such a lot of fun and of course because of the success of this, I’m going to be doing this again in the very near future, so stay tuned to that.
If you want to check out this previous edition now of Crack the Code contests, you can go to AlexainCanada.ca/CracktheCode you’ll be able to listen to the flash briefings there.
You can still access the skill Crack the Code. However, as you will see on the website, the contest officially is now closed, just to be clear about that.
Finally, in that email that I’m going to send to everybody that has the link to the VoiceXP gift, I will also ask you if at all possible to take a few moments, very, very brief moments to give me a little feedback.
There’ll be a short link to a questionnaire, and if you can do that, it will be immensely appreciated because it’s going to help me design future Crack the Code episodes going forward.
So I hope you will provide that feedback. Have a great day. Sorry for the length of this episode.
Again, we’re really back to our regularly scheduled flash briefings tomorrow, and I’ll talk to you then, take care.
