Voice In Canada Flash Briefing #506

Hey there, did you get yesterday’s clue? Did you solve it? That was a tough one for those of you that solved it, good on you.

That was really, really well done. That was a fun one. Alright, here we are now, day seven of the Crack the Code contest for the Voice in Canada flash briefing.

As I’m sure you have realized, there’s a theme for these two weeks of flash briefings, which are a little bit different than my general flash briefings.

But this is all about celebrating the 500th episode, thanking you as the listeners with the prizes and thanking the supporters with shout outs to them for the great work that they are doing.

Along those lines, just before we get to the clue for today, I want you to know that the podcast that is coming out today is a special podcast where I have a discussion with Bob Stolzberg of VoiceXP, the man who helped me make the Crack the Code skill.

And we actually have a lot of fun, it’s a little bit of fireside chat where we interview each other about the process. We talk a little bit about how I came up with the idea, and of course, we also talk about how Bob was able to take this idea and work with me, and really bring it to life.

So, make sure to check out that podcast episode, AlexainCanada.ca/85. Okay, now let’s get to today’s clue. And today I want to acknowledge Shanthan Kesharaju who came on the podcast episode number 63 and we talked about the skills that he is creating.

He is a really bright guy, I actually met him at Voice Summit. Thanks again to Pete for the Voice Summit registration price for this contest. And, Shanthan and I had a great discussion at the Voice Summit.

One of the fun skills that he did has a name very similar to a brand of games that you might know from iOS devices.

Crack the Code Clue #7

I learned all about the skills that he is doing, particularly in the education space.

He told me about his 1-2-3 Math skill, which has been an incredible skill, and he’s won some awards for that skill.

And, he also told me about some of the other skills that he has developed.

One of the fun skills that he did has a name very similar to a brand of games that you might know from iOS devices and other devices called Angry Birds.

Well, he created a skill that has a very similar name and it’s a multi-modal skill that focuses on teaching kids programming.

So whether Shanthan is creating skills to teach kids math, or he’s creating skills to teach kids programming, he’s doing a fantastic job and I want to like I said, shout out to him for supporting the podcast and coming on as my guests.

I look forward to catching up with him again at Voice Summit. So, there you go, I hope you are entering and getting lots of entries for this contest.

As you know, you can get multiple entries by following some of the tasks on the AlexainCanada.ca/CracktheCode site, and good luck with today’s puzzle it’s out there.

Seven clues are out there, how many have you gotten?
