Voice In Canada Flash Briefing #494
Hey there. Okay, for those of you that enjoy listening to your SiriusXM radio, there is some new news with regards to bringing that to Alexa.
Here’s the deal, as you probably know, SiriusXM is really known for being a radio subscription that people listen to in their car.
Well, they have just launched a new package called the Essential Package, and the key thing here is that they are bringing the package to other devices.
So as they say on their press release, “It’s built for people who want to listen on a mobile phone, tablet, desktop or on connected devices.”
And here’s the key for us, “Connected devices in the home, including devices with Amazon Alexa, Amazon Fire TV, and some other manufacturers as well.”
It says it’s going to allow the subscriber to have access to more than 300 channels.
If you want to listen to SiriusXM on the Alexa devices, you can do it now.
And here’s the pricing. You get the first three months, for a dollar. And I’m not sure if that’s a dollar for the three months, or a dollar per month, it’s not clear about that.
But then after that, it’s eight months per month thereafter. If you want to check it out, you can go to SiriusXM.ca/Essential/Three-Months. And so there you go.

Listen on your Echo Device! Easy as 1-2-3!
1. Open your Alexa app and click on the Menu button > Settings > Flash Briefing.
2. Click on “Add Content” and search for “Voice in Canada”.
3. Click on “Voice in Canada” and the Enable button.
