Voice In Canada Flash Briefing #3
Happy Wednesday. So today I want to tell you about a really cool App that I discovered that allows you to use Alexa on your mobile device.
Actually recorded a podcast about this a little while back about how you could go through these various steps through the Amazon App, like the Amazon shopping App, but you’d have to change your settings to the United States English if you’re in Canada.
But here’s an App that I discovered that is much more simple. It’s called Reverb for Amazon Alexa and it’s on the App store.
It’s on the Google play store. You can get it on both places and you can actually get it for your desktop as well.
Anyway, what it is, you basically download this App and then the interface is just a blue circle on a black screen, kind of like the blue light around the Echo devices.
But here’s an App that I discovered that is much more simple.
And once you log into your Amazon account, it’s now tied into your account and you can simply push the button on the screen and you can use your phone like an Amazon Alexa device.
It’s very, very cool and it works really well. The only thing that I have found so far that doesn’t work is the Spotify music and that may have something to do with the licensing as far as using the music through this App.
But I think this is a great little trick for you to take around and you can use Alexa on your device.
And it’s also really great for people that haven’t yet invested in an Amazon Echo device and they just want to try it out.
As long as they have an Amazon account, they can download this tied into their Amazon account and use Alexa on their phone. So checkout reverb and tell me what you think. And again, it just a quick reminder.

Listen on your Echo Device! Easy as 1-2-3!
1. Open your Alexa app and click on the Menu button > Settings > Flash Briefing.
2. Click on “Add Content” and search for “Voice in Canada”.
3. Click on “Voice in Canada” and the Enable button.
