Voice In Canada Flash Briefing #89

Hey there, Teri here with the latest flash briefing from Voice in Canada.

Today I’ve got a quick one for you, but it’s just a couple of neat little commands that you can use to help you get a little bit more out of Alexa.

The first one is if you have ever found yourself talking to Alexa and you missed what she said, it’s very simple to get her to repeat that.

You simply say, “Alexa, can you repeat that?” and boom, she does it for you.

So I know it’s happened to me before she, a timer goes off or ask her a question I couldn’t quite hear the response.

Now I know how to get that response back “Alexa, can you repeat that?” and another little trick that I discovered is you can actually ask, “Alexa, what new features do you have?” and this is pretty neat because this is updated on a regular basis.

Alexa actually can rap for mother’s day.

New Feature Commands

What I just discovered was that Alexa actually can rap for mother’s day.

So I did a flash briefing about mother’s day on Sunday but then I asked, “Alexa, what new features do you have?” and I found out that she can actually rap.

So you can, I know a mother’s days passed now, but you can try it out if you want.

You can just say, “Alexa, give me a mother’s day rap” and see what she says.

She’s actually got a number of different raps, so there you go. If you want to keep track of what’s new, and I think I’m going to do this on a regular basis, just ask her, “Alexa, what new features do you have?”.
