Voice In Canada Flash Briefing #41

Happy Saturday, I hope you are enjoying the Good Friday, Easter Monday, Passover, long weekend.

In the spirit of this long weekend, I thought that I would give you some more entertaining commands that you can try with Alexa and hopefully, keep you smiling over the course of the weekend and allow you to enjoy this with your family.

So today, here’s a command for you to try. Everybody likes having stories told to them. It goes back to when we were kids, right?

And your parents hopefully had a chance to read you some stories. You hopefully had a chance to appreciate those.

But here’s the thing, Alexa can do the same thing and she’s got quite the repertoire of stories. So if you simply say to Alexa, “Hey Alexa, tell me a story”.

She will do that. And if you ask her again, she’ll likely tell you a different one.

She’s got a repertoire of quite a few stories and they’re fun.

Tell me a Story

Hopefully don’t get the same one two times in a row. But anyway, she’s got a repertoire of quite a few stories and they’re fun.

I’m not quite sure how Amazon decided which stories that Alexa should tell us. But they did and they created some stories, and like I said, there are fun, entertaining way to pass a little bit of time.

Today I’d also like to acknowledge one more of the reviews that I received for the voice in Canada flash briefing, and again, I’m doing this as a way to thank you for your effort in leaving these flash briefings.

This one is by Sam Davidson and he writes, “Great to have a Canadian perspective on Alexa, especially as we are behind other countries like the USA. Teri is also great with feedback and answering questions”.

I really appreciate that, Sam. I have to admit that sometimes it takes me a little bit longer than I’d like to, in terms of getting back to you.

So I apologies there, but if you don’t hear from me, please send me a message again and I will do my best to get back to you.

Have a wonderful day. Enjoy your Saturday and I’ll talk to you again tomorrow.
