Voice In Canada Flash Briefing #1418
Hey, hey. Teri here. For those of you that use the Ring set of doorbells, or cameras, or alarm systems in conjunction with Alexa, there is a new product that was just announced today and it’s available for pre-order today.
It will actually be released on February 16th. It’s called the Ring alarm glass break sensor. It does exactly what the title would suggest.
Basically, this enables you to set this up in your home, or your business, or wherever you want to have this monitor your glass.
It listens for glass that is breaking. What’s really interesting is that the AI algorithms in the technology can distinguish the glass sounds of a window breaking, a door breaking, from something else that might make similar sounds.
Think of things like jingling keys or clattering dishes.
This enables you to set this up in your home, or your business, or wherever you want to have this monitor your glass
That is what the product does. Now, this works with the Ring alarm system, so presumably this would work with Alexa as well.
I don’t have confirmation about that yet but I wanted to let you know because this product is available right now. It’s priced at $49.99 on Amazon.

1. Open your Alexa app and click on the Menu button > Settings > Flash Briefing.
2. Click on “Add Content” and search for “Voice in Canada”.
3. Click on “Voice in Canada” and the Enable button.
