Voice In Canada Flash Briefing #1417
Hello, hello. Teri here. It’s Wednesday. Hope you’re doing well. As you may know, CES, or the Consumer Electronics Show is going on this week.
And always, every year during the CES, there are a ton of announcements with regards to new gadgets, new technology, and some of the latest and greatest things that we’re seeing.
Innovative things in technology. One of the things that was just recently announced (which of course, is compatible with Alexa which is why I’m talking about it here on this flash briefing) is a new smart lock for your home.
This smart lock is by Schlage. And they are debuting the Apple home key compatible encode plus smart lock.
Yes, that’s a mouthful. But here’s the thing.
It’s another company that is trying to make their products as universally compatible as possible
It allows you to unlock your door just from using your phone. And again, like I said, this is also compatible with Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant.
So, it’s pretty interesting. It’s another company that is trying to make their products as universally compatible as possible.
So of course, you can do all the regular things that you can do by voice. You know. Lock the door, find the status of the door, and so on.
But again, the interesting thing here is that you can just use your phone by walking up to it and unlocking the door.

1. Open your Alexa app and click on the Menu button > Settings > Flash Briefing.
2. Click on “Add Content” and search for “Voice in Canada”.
3. Click on “Voice in Canada” and the Enable button.
