Hello, hello, Teri here with your flash briefing for Thursday and I’ve got a little tip here for you.

If you are interested in having your Echo Show, have the screen turn off entirely, for whatever reason, you want to have a completely dark or you’re going to bed you don’t want to have anything on the screen at all.

It is really easy to do that, you simply say, “Alexa, turn off the screen”, and she will do that and it goes completely black.

And then the next time that you say the wake word, Alexa, the screen comes back on, really, really simple.

So I know that some people were asking about that previously, how do you get the screen to go off?

Voice in Canada Flash Briefing Icon1. Open your Alexa app and click on the Menu button > Settings > Flash Briefing.
2. Click on “Add Content” and search for “Voice in Canada”.
3. Click on “Voice in Canada” and the Enable button.
