Voice In Canada Flash Briefing #1118

Hey, hey Teri Fisher here with your flash briefing for Friday and today I want to give you a little bit of a tip.

If you are wondering how you can snooze your Echo devices, well, you can do it just by tapping on them.

Now, here’s the caveat, I’m not 100% sure which devices you could do this on.

But it is written down, it is published in the Alexa help guide, the official help guide from Amazon and they have it under the snooze alarm feature for Echo devices.

if your device is muted, this does not work but if your devices is not muted, then this should work.

Tap to Snooze Your Echo Device

So I’m assuming it’s available on the newer devices but this is what you do, when your alarm goes off.

You simply can tap you firmly tap on the device with more than one finger, and then it will snooze for nine minutes, nine minutes is the default snooze time.

One other thing to note is that if your device is muted, this does not work but if your devices is not muted, then this should work.

And I’d love to hear from you, if this works for you with your device, hit me up on Twitter, DrTeriFisher, and I’ll talk to you again tomorrow.

Take care.
