Voice In Canada Flash Briefing #1054

Hey, Teri here with your flash briefing for Thursday.

So let’s say hypothetically that you have a fire TV, and you have misplaced your remote, your voice remote, what do you do?

Well, assuming that you have another Alexa device, an Echo device somewhere else in that room, you can actually use that Echo device to control your TV.

And there are three key commands that you need to remember, find, so you could say find a particular genre or find a particular title or find a particular actor.

you can actually use that Echo device to control your TV.

Fire TV without a Remote

You can say play so when you see something on the screen then, you can say play that program, whatever that may be.

And you can also say commands like show me the weather, and you can get information shown on your screen as well.

So that’s what you do if you’d lost your remote, hopefully you do find your remote but otherwise, at least you can still watch your TV and use your voice to control it all.

Hope that’s helpful for you today, I’ll talk to you again tomorrow.

Listen on your Echo Device! Easy as 1-2-3!
