Voice In Canada Flash Briefing #915

Hey there, Teri Fisher here and it’s your flash briefing for Friday and I want to follow up on yesterday’s flash briefing.

Yesterday I spoke about blueprint specifically in the context of creating a chore list with Alexa and having Alexa help you to keep track of who’s doing what chores and keeping score.

I also want to mention, there are many, many other blueprints that you can take advantage of.

Again, what are blueprints there? Their basically templates that allow you to create your own skills without any coding, you just fill in the blanks.

And just to give you a little taste of the templates that are available, at least in Canada, there’s a bigger selection in the US by the way, but in Canada, you can create, well there’s 38 different ones.

So there’s custom question and answers, you can do Valentine’s greetings, countdowns, story quizzes, flashcards, great for going back to school, listening quizzes, all about mom, fables, first letter it’s a game, whose turn trivia, what to do facts, the list goes on and on and on.

I would encourage you to check out all of these here and over the next little while I will do a little bit of a showcase of these different blueprints and highlight some of the functionality of these blueprints, just so that you can, get a sense of the individual blueprints and perhaps maybe one or a couple that you might want to take advantage of.

To access the blueprints you can go to your Alexa app, click on the more button in the bottom right corner, and then click on blueprints and then you will see what is available to take advantage of alright?

Hope you’re doing well, hope you find that helpful and I will talk to you again tomorrow. Take care.
