Voice In Canada Flash Briefing #914
Hey there, how’s it going? Teri Fisher here with your flash briefing for today.
Today, I want to talk a little bit about blueprints, but specifically one type of blueprint, and this is known as Chore Chart.
So if you have things that need to get done around your home, and my guess is you probably do, sometimes you want to divvy these tasks up among people among, maybe with your partner, maybe with your kids, but you don’t really want to nag.
So Alexa can come to the rescue, you can very easily create a custom skill, well custom in quotes.
It’s a custom skill for your family, but it’s based on a template or a blueprint as it’s known a Chore Chart.
So Alexa can come to the rescue, you can very easily create a custom skill
And the way you do this is you simply go into the Alexa app, you click on the more button in the lower right corner, and then you’ll see blueprints.
You click on blueprint and there’s a number of different blueprints there but if you click on chore chart it then takes you through how to create the chores.
Basically you can create a weekly chore, a list, you can divvy them up among people Alexa will keep score when people log their chores and it gives a little bit of gamification to doing chores around the home.
So feel free to check that out, hopefully, that makes chores a little bit more enjoyable in your home.
And I’d love to hear how you feel about it, alright? So good luck with that, take care, talk to you tomorrow.
