Voice In Canada Flash Briefing #910

Hello, happy Sunday, hope you’re doing really well and having a fantastic weekend.

Today’s a day to answer questions from the community and this one I received through email and this person asked, “I have a yellow light that is pulsing on and off on my Echo device. How do I turn that off?”

Well, very very simple, great question, first of all, the flashing yellow light that you’re seeing means that there is a notification or a message from Alexa contact.

So what you would need to do is you simply say, “Alexa, what notifications do I have” or “Alexa, what messages do I have?”

And she will tell you what those notifications or messages are and then that light will go off.

The pulsating yellow light is the indication that there is some type of message

How do I Turn off The Yellow Flashing Light

It’s basically kinda like saying or, you know, when we used to have those answering machines and there would be a light on telling you, you have a message, it’s the same kind of idea with this one.

The pulsating yellow light is the indication that there is some type of message and you just ask Alexa for those messages.

I like seeing those because often it means that I’ve got an Amazon package delivered because I get notifications when an Amazon package comes in but that’s how you do it.

Very, very simple but really good question, it’s a very, very common question.

So thank you for asking that question and I hope that’s helpful to many of you out there.

Northern voice, have a wonderful Sunday, I’ll talk to you tomorrow.
