Voice In Canada Flash Briefing #902
Hey there, how you doing?
It’s Teri here, and today is Saturday, which means that it’s Alexa command day.
And on these days I like to share commands and you can see all the other ones in the past, by going to VoiceinCanada.ca.
Today I want to share two sort of practical ones with you and they have to do with using your Alexa device for your calendar.
The first one is just, how do you add something to your calendar?
Now, this is assuming that you have set up your calendar with Alexa, so I’m going to make that assumption for today that you’ve gone into your device settings and you’ve matched up your calendar with the device.
It allows you to schedule things in your calendar seamless as possible just by using your voice.
Once you’ve done that, you can say things for example, “Alexa, add family dinner to the schedule tonight at 7:00 PM,” or of course you could choose a different day or a different time, and it allows you to schedule things in your calendar seamless as possible just by using your voice.
Now here’s the other tip is that you can actually do this as well, if you have a dialed number for a meeting, let’s say on your calendar, then what you can say is you can say, “Alexa, join my meeting” and then automatically Alexa will join that meeting and it makes things that much more seamless as well.
So there you go, a couple of practical tips today, a little bit different than some of the other weeks but these are related to calendars and scheduling and trying to make our lives hopefully a little bit more organized.

2. Click on “Add Content” and search for “Voice in Canada”.
3. Click on “Voice in Canada” and the Enable button.
