Voice In Canada Flash Briefing #868

Hey, there happy Sunday, today is the day I like to answer questions from the community.

And today I have a question, from an anonymous person and it’s a really good one though, and a very common question.

And the question is essentially, “How do you change your default music provider in your Alexa app? Or for playing music on Alexa.” and it’s pretty simple.

These are the instructions, what you do is you open your Alexa app, then you click on the top left corner icon, the menu icon looks like three little bars on top of each other.

Once you’ve done that, then you go down to settings when you click on settings, you’re then going to scroll down and you’re going to see an option to click on music.

When you do that, now you can see that you can manage your different music services.

And what you do is you click on your default services, which is going to be at the bottom and that’s where you select your default music provider.

It doesn’t limit you when you choose your default music provider

How to Select Default Alexa Music Provider

So that is where the music is going to come from when you ask Alexa.

Now, I want to say one of the things about that, when you are listening to music, if you do want the music to come from another provider, you can always specify that at that time.

So it doesn’t limit you when you choose your default music provider, but it is essentially like the first place that Alexa goes to find that music, okay?

So you can do that for your music library and you can also do that for your default, music station.

I hope that is helpful for you and for lots of other people if this was your question again, it was an anonymous question, if this was your question, I hope it was helpful to you and I hope you have a wonderful day.

Okay, have a great rest of your weekend, I’ll talk to you tomorrow.
