Hello, hello, and welcome to the weekend, happy Saturday.
It’s Teri Fisher here, and let’s get right to some Alexa commands, things that you can say to Alexa, if you want to hear the other ones, go to VoiceinCanada.ca.
This is actually the 99th time that I’m doing this, so it’s 99 consecutive weeks of giving some commands on Saturday.
So again, there’s a whole database, a whole collection of different flash briefings on the website.
Okay, so let’s get right to it, here are a couple of things that you can say.
You can ask Alexa, “what’s trending” and she will tell you what are the main things going on in the news and trending currently.
You can ask, Alexa, particularly if you’re a Shakespeare fan you’d enjoy this one, “Alexa, tell me a Shakespeare joke” and she will do that.
The Voice Den coming up on Wednesday an opportunity chance with some of the thought leaders.
And the last one is a sort of a practical one, and that’s if you’re going out at a certain time.
You know, like sometimes you want to know what the temperature is at a certain time of day, if you’re planning to do something, you can actually do that.
So for example, you can say, “Alexa, what’s the temperature at 8:00 AM” or whatever time you want and that’s quite a useful little bit of information.

2. Click on “Add Content” and search for “Voice in Canada”.
3. Click on “Voice in Canada” and the Enable button.
