Voice In Canada Flash Briefing #803

Hey there, Teri Fisher here with your flash briefing for Friday and today I’ve got a quick tip for you.

If you find that you are running around trying to do all these things in your home now that we are home and trying to remember what you have to do when, when it comes to emailing or scheduling your next grocery order or pickup time or all those other things that we’re trying to manage, here’s a little tip.

You can simply get Alexa to remind you of something at a particular time of day.

You can simply get Alexa to remind you of something at a particular time of day.

Get A Reminder at a Specific Time

So let’s say you need to send somebody an email at two o’clock in the afternoon and you want a reminder five minutes before that, you can simply say, “Alexa, remind me to email”, fill in the blank, whoever it is at 1:55 PM.

And sometimes she may ask you a question to clarify exactly what the reminder is for or the time but that way at that time you’ll get a little audible chime from Alexa and she will tell you what that reminder was set for.

So use that if you feel the need to, I think it’s a great little feature.

Hope you’re having a great day and I will talk to you again tomorrow.
