Voice In Canada Flash Briefing #799
Hey there, Teri Fisher here, nice to chat with you again, Northern voice for this flash briefing on Monday.
And today I want to tell you about another option that you have when it comes to home security systems and this one has Alexa built in.
As you may know, there are already a number of companies that are in this particular segment of the market and that includes companies like Nest and Ring, but now Ecobee.
They have already launched the home monitoring system but they’re going to be adding a new smart camera to it haven lineup.
And the smart camera is a high definition 1080p full like I say, high def camera and it’s got 180 degree wide angle lens.
There’s a night mode for low light situations and it acts as a smart speaker.
So you’ve got Alexa built right into the camera, which is a very interesting, it’s fascinating.
Every time a new product comes out, it’s very interesting to see the ways that Alexa’s being built into the product.
So it’s not so much just about the smart speaker anymore, but how can the company leverage the smart speaker and put it into their own hardware, so very, very interesting.
So if you are looking for some type of device that’s going to function as a camera for your home security system and you want Alexa built in, this may be something worth looking at.
There’s a night mode for low light situations and it acts as a smart speaker.
Now finally, just before I sign off, I do want to give a shout out to somebody who left a review and this review was actually left on pod chaser and this is by Ileane and she has a Twitter handle AnchorShow if you’re interested in checking her out.
And she gave it five stars and this is what she wrote, “Great info. Even if you are in the US, this is one of my favorite briefings. I enjoy Teri’s delivery style and the information he provides is super helpful. His voice is great to hear first thing in the morning too and on that note, I love that this briefing updates early in the morning because I am an early riser and most of the briefings I listened to are always a day behind. Teri has cracked the code on being the most up to date flash briefing on my Alexa pun intended. Thanks Teri. Your power from the sister of brotherly love in the US Miss Ileane.”
So hey, thank you so much, that is such a nice, nice testimonial to hear so I really appreciate that.
It means a lot to know that you are finding this valuable.
What else can I say? I really appreciate that, if anybody else in Northern voice would like to leave a review, you simply go to VoiceinCanada.ca and you will see a red button there that says leave a review.
You simply click on that and within about 10, 15 seconds you can leave a review and those are all extremely valued and very much appreciated.
Of course, I’d be happy to give you a shout out here because that’s the least I can do for the effort that you put into that.
I hope you’re doing well, stay safe, and I will talk to you again tomorrow. Take care.
