Hey there, so a while back, I told you about the fact that Amazon is looking to hire thousands of people to join their workforce, they are in some hiring spree.
Well, today I want to tell you that, particularly for us Canadians, Amazon is looking for at least 3500 more employees, mostly to be distributed among Toronto and Vancouver.
But the real new news here is that, for those of us in Vancouver, you may know that there was an old Canada Post building downtown.
And it is expected to be completely redeveloped by 2023 and Amazon has now apparently committed to hiring 6000 people in total to work in this space.

Now, they had already said they were going to hire 3000 but now they are committing to another 3000 in the Vancouver space.
So they’re going to be looking for software development engineers, user experience designers, speech scientists for Alexa, of course, a cloud computing, sales marketing.
So if you are, point of this flash briefing is that if you are a fan of Amazon, particularly if you are a fan of Alexa, and you have some skills, that would be a value to Amazon that encourage you to check out their job application site.
And you just go to Amazon.ca/Apply and that is the Canadian site where you can look at the Canadian jobs that are up for grabs.
