Voice In Canada Flash Briefing #1412

Well, hello there. It is Teri here. It is New Year’s Eve. I just wanna say, first of all, a big thank you for all of your support over the whole year, 2021.

What a year it has been. It’s been a crazy year as you know. But I appreciate all the support here with the Voice in Canada podcast and flash briefing, and The Voice Den shows, etc.

So thank you so much. I do wish you all the very best. Health and happiness to you, your family, your loved ones. All the best things for 2022.

For today, I just want to give you a little bit of a tip to help you celebrate New Year’s.

If you’d like, what you could do is you could set up a New Year’s routine with Alexa.

And you could set it either to start with a particular phrase or you could set it at a particular time, 11:59, etc. And you can do all kinds of fun things.

You can get Alexa to say things to you. You can get Alexa to count down by giving her that particular command in the customized utterances part of the routine

2022 New Year's Routine With Alexa

You can have lights flash. You can do all kinds of fun things. So, consider setting up a routine for your celebrations this evening.

Also, something else that you can do whether or not it’s part of a routine, is you can have Alexa sing Auld Lang Syne.

And you just have to give that command. “Alexa, sing Auld Lang Syne at 12 o’clock” and she will give you the music that you need to celebrate.

So there you go. Again, all the very best for 2022.

I look forward to continuing to chat with you and bringing you all the best tips and tricks and helping us both learn more about how we can use Alexa to hopefully make our lives a little more fun, enjoyable, efficient, and overall, reduce our stress levels.

So, there you go. Again, thank you for your support in 2021. All the best for 2022. Happy New Year’s
