Voice In Canada Flash Briefing #379

Hey there, I hope you are having a great start to your week. It’s Monday and I’ve got a tip for you today. Here’s something that I just discovered on the Amazon Prime music app on my phone. I happen to have an Apple iPhone, but I’m sure this would work on Android as well.

When you download the Amazon Music app, you can actually control the app strictly by voice and you don’t even have to press a button or hold a button to get Alexa to essentially wake up on the phone.

You don’t need to use the hardware of the phone. Alexa is always listening when you have the app open, and it doesn’t matter what screen you’re on. So that’s pretty cool.

So you simply open the music app and you simply say the magic word and you give the command, and she takes it away and she starts playing the music.

So that’s pretty neat because as you may know, when you actually use the Alexa app for the settings and so on, the only way that you can get her to actually wake up and listen to you is by pressing the little blue Alexa icon.

You can actually control the app strictly by voice and you don’t even have to press a button or hold a button.

Amazon Prime Music App with Alexa

So that’s kind of interesting that they actually increase the functionality in the Amazon Prime Music app. And I just wanted to let you know as well, if you don’t know this already, you can get a free trial for Amazon Prime Music.

I am an affiliate for Amazon, and if you use my link AlexainCanada.ca/Prime, I do earn a very, very small commission, and it is very small, but nevertheless, it is a small commission, and there’s no extra cost to you, but if you choose to do that, then hey, I’m very appreciative of that as well.

And thank you very much. Hope you have a great day and tomorrow we’ve got a great podcast for you coming up. Tune in then. Talk to you later.
